Job summary

Able Engineering Services is seeking a Senior/Lead Engineer to supervise the engineering department, oversee maintenance of facility systems, and ensure safety standards are met. You will implement energy-conscious operations and coordinate with management on capital plans and safety programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive operations experience.
• Strong employee relation, coaching and training skills.
• State/local Stationary Engineer/HVAC license and refrigerant recovery license.
• Haz-Mat/LEED/IAQ certifications preferred.
• MS Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency; building automation systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the engineering department and oversee facility systems for safety and efficiency.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate emergency repairs by priority and staff availability.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems and safety procedures.
• Develop and implement site polices to improve plant operations and energy use.
• Manage budgets, capital planning, and long-range equipment replacement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote good housekeeping and team morale.
