Texas State Technical College (TSTC) seeks a senior facilities programs manager to oversee large construction projects and renovations across campuses, ensuring timely delivery within budget and adherence to standards.

You will lead project managers, collaborate with leadership, provosts and cross-functional teams, and represent the division on high-level committees. A bachelor's degree and extensive leadership in education facilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction or business field.
• Minimum five years of progressive administrative experience in higher education.
• Experience leading large capital projects and budgets.
• Knowledge of campus planning, design and construction processes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project development, planning, design, and construction of facilities.
• Prepare RFQ and RFPs for professional services and construction contracts; review work of contractors.
• Lead consultants and oversee budgeting and scheduling for projects.
• Represent Facilities Planning & Construction on committees and with stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% as required; on-call 24/7 when needed.
