Job summary
Harley-Davidson Motor Company in York, PA, is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Advanced Manufacturing–Fabrication team. You will develop and launch new fabricated metal components while implementing next-generation manufacturing processes.
This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic influence across Engineering, Manufacturing, and the global supply base. The role requires at least 5 years of cross-functional leadership in metal fabrication or welding, strong project management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
- 5+ years leading cross-functional manufacturing projects.
- Experience in metal fabrication, draw forming, stamping, die casting, forging, or welding.
- Willingness to travel 10–25%.
Responsibilities
- Lead process simulation for welding and automation, shaping design and integration.
- Drive manufacturing innovation, standardization, requirements planning and risk
- Own tooling and equipment selection through launch, vendor engagement and commissioning.
- Deliver on quality, cost, and timing targets for programs.
- Provide advanced problem-solving support for fabricated frames and components with suppliers.
