Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Dry Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician responsible for monitoring, sustaining and improving semiconductor tools, with emphasis on vacuum systems and 12-hour shift coverage.

The role involves installing and testing equipment, developing procedures, and reducing downtime through systematic troubleshooting; 5+ years of experience and an associate degree or equivalent military training are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience with vacuum systems is a plus.
• Fundamentals of AC/DC circuits and electronics.
• Knowledge of SPC principles and their application.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment installs and testing.
• Create/modify equipment procedures.
• Increase tool uptime via systematic troubleshooting and quality workmanship.
• Document maintenance on check sheets and tracking programs.
• Monitor SPC issues daily and respond to out-of-control signals.
• Keep Lead Tech and Lead Engineer updated on tool issues.
