Job summary

A leading technology employer is seeking an experienced F5 Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage network solutions. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and involves significant responsibilities in engineering and coordinating projects. Candidates should possess extensive experience in network design and implementation, particularly with F5 technologies and a strong understanding of security protocols. Qualifications

• 10+ years of related technical experience in Network and Transport technologies.
• 5+ years experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks.
• Understanding of DISA and IC standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and implement solutions for projects based on customer Change Requests.
• Coordinate issues with the appropriate owners/organizations.
• Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams.

Skills

Security Clearance: active TS/SCI

Experience with F5 (APM, AFM, SSLO, etc.)

Competent with mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS)

Experience with HTTP, SAML, and OAuth

Interpersonal skills to help negotiate priorities

Education

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

IAT II Certification

Tools

CISCO CCNP, CCVP, CCNA, or CCDP (or equivalent)

F5 Networks Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
