Job summary

Intone Inc. seeks a Senior F5 Load Balancer Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Plano, TX. You will design and implement enterprise load balancing solutions, provide L3 production support, and create detailed architecture and operation documents.

You will troubleshoot complex network issues, optimize traffic flows, and develop high/low level designs while maintaining strong security awareness and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on F5 Networks experience, with expertise in BIG-IP LTM.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware AVI (NSX Advanced Load Balancer).
• Enterprise networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, and switching.
• Level 3 production support experience for critical infrastructure.
• Strong network troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of network and application security.
• Experience with application infrastructure and understanding of application traffic flows.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Preferred: F5 BIG-IP GTM/DNS, ASM, and APM modules.
• Background in the financial services industry.
• Scripting or programming experience with Python, Perl, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise load balancing solutions
• Provide Level 3 (L3) production support for critical infrastructure
• Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Create High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for load balancing infrastructure
• Implement production solutions and provide implementation guidance to teams
• Develop and maintain strong technical documentation including architecture, configuration, and operational documents
• Analyze and optimize application traffic flows and infrastructure performance
