Job summary

Resicum International LLC is seeking a qualified F/A-18 Aircraft Mechanic III to support organizational-level maintenance for the U.S. Navy's VFC-12 squadron at NAS Oceana, Virginia. The position requires leading and performing advanced maintenance tasks and ensuring mission readiness.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, inspections, and repair work, with adherence to NAMP, safety, and quality standards to maximize aircraft availability and daily flight operations.

Qualifications

• Five years of organizational-level aircraft maintenance experience on F/A-18 or similar military aircraft.
• Thorough knowledge of Navy organizational maintenance procedures and NAMP.
• Experience performing advanced troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, and MRCs.
• Experience leading or mentoring aircraft maintenance personnel.
• Working knowledge of aircraft systems: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and flight control.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced organizational-level maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft.
• Lead maintenance teams during scheduled and unscheduled operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, environmental, and propulsion systems.
• Execute launch, recovery, and flight line operations.
• Conduct inspections and ensure accurate maintenance logs and records.
