Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier selection, qualification and corrective actions in Chaska, MN. You’ll own supplier scorecards and material control plans to ensure robust incoming quality.

You’ll visit suppliers, drive root-cause investigations, and implement lean improvements via Kaizen events, enabling consistent yields and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a master’s degree; or a doctoral degree.
• CQE preferred.
• Regulatory/standards experience with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 14971.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute supplier selection and qualification, manage change notifications, conduct audits, drive corrective actions, and maintain supplier scorecards.
• Develop supplier material control plans integrated with product qualification to ensure robust incoming quality.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for supplier-driven manufacturing issues, serving as the primary supplier quality representative.
• Visit suppliers to resolve product performance concerns at the source.
• Recommend field actions to the product regulatory committee when necessary.
• Run Kaizen events to streamline processes, implement lean tools, reduce variation and waste.
