K2 Design and Fabrication in Henderson, NV seeks a senior Shop Production Journey-Level Fabricator to lead fabrication of trade show exhibits and museum environments. You'll interpret production drawings, coordinate tasks, guide crew members, and ensure client-ready results safely and on schedule.

This on-site role requires 3+ years in custom fabrication, strong woodworking and finish carpentry skills, and the ability to manage a crew while maintaining quality and safety standards across

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years in custom exhibit fabrication or related field.
• Ability to read production drawings and shop drawings.
• Proficiency with measuring, layout, woodworking, assembly, fastening, and finishing tools.
• Strong leadership and clear communication to direct a crew.

Mansioni

• Review production drawings, engineering details, work orders, and BOMs before starting work.
• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, finish, stage, pack, install, and dismantle exhibit components and millwork.
• Coordinate graphics, lighting, electrical, AV, and other components.
• Provide day-to-day direction and coaching to crew, monitor progress, ensure quality standards.
• Conduct fit checks, pre-assembly, client previews, punch-list corrections, and packing.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and conformance to drawings.
• Track labor hours and material use; communicate concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with Engineering, PM, Purchasing, Graphics, Paint, Warehouse, Logistics, and vendors.
