Active involvement in client liaison, industry engagement, and mentoring other adjusters is expected. A senior background in property/liability claims, management skills, and strong analytical acumen are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Two years college or an equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience adjusting complex property or liability claims; strong knowledge of insurance coverage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine claims forms, policies, endorsements and client instructions to determine coverage.
• Coordinate a team of adjusters to handle complex claims components.
• Investigate claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses and reviewing reports.
• Set loss value estimates for clients and prepare required reports.
• Mentor staff, manage performance, and recruit/train team members.
• Present adjustment recommendations to clients and others; liaise with legal entities when needed.
• Monitor costs, evaluate litigation needs, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to industry presentations and knowledge sharing.
