Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Close Protection Officer to provide personal security support for senior executives as part of the Global Security Operations (GSO) team. This full-time role is based in multiple major markets including New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in law enforcement, military, corporate security, and/or executive protection.
• HR 218 certification and ability to obtain firearm carry license in relevant states.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally with short notice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Close protection duties for senior executives, including acting as lead CPO.
• Develop and implement security and travel plans for domestic and international trips.
• Make independent operational decisions and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Conduct risk assessments and site analyses prior to executive arrival.
• Coordinate transportation and security drivers for executives.
• Liaise with law enforcement, venue security, and event planners.
• Develop crisis management protocols with GSO leadership.
• Perform other GSO duties as assigned.
