Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Close Protection Officer to provide personal security support for senior executives as part of the Global Security Operations (GSO) team. This full-time role is based in multiple major markets including New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, with periodic travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
10+ years of professional experience in law enforcement, military, corporate security, and/or executive protection.
HR 218 certification and ability to obtain firearm carry license in relevant states.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally with short notice.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Close protection duties for senior executives, including acting as lead CPO.
Develop and implement security and travel plans for domestic and international trips.
Make independent operational decisions and coordinate with law enforcement.
Conduct risk assessments and site analyses prior to executive arrival.
Coordinate transportation and security drivers for executives.
Liaise with law enforcement, venue security, and event planners.
Develop crisis management protocols with GSO leadership.
Perform other GSO duties as assigned.
