Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Senior Executive Chef to oversee culinary operations across multiple locations. The role ensures brand standards, safety, and menu execution while developing team members.

Travel will be 25%-50% within a standard region and candidates should reside near one of our sites or major airports. Located in the United States with operations across several states, the role requires a strong background in culinary leadership, menu development, and cost management to maintain

Qualifications

• 8+ years of culinary management experience.
• Experience leading in diverse environments with strong client focus.
• Experience with controlling food and labor costs, menu development, and pricing.
• Experience with P&L accountability or contract-managed service is preferred.
• Familiarity with corporate dining software such as Prima, NetMenu, Cbord.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring kitchen staff across the region.
• Ensure compliance with Aramark SAFE food and QA standards, safety policies.
• Support new location openings, renovations, and large-scale catering events.
• Develop, test, and implement menus and recipes for regional consistency.
• Establish presentation techniques and quality standards.
• Train on-site leadership on food cost, inventory management, and budgets.
• Ensure culinary standards and techniques for food production and service.
• Develop and maintain client and guest rapport for mutually beneficial relationships.
• Interact daily with guests.
• Aggregate and communicate regional culinary trends.
• Deliver food and labor targets; focus on margin improvement using data.
• Monitor performance metrics, data, orders and inventory trends.

The Senior Executive Chef is responsible for culinary operations across multiple locations, overseeing brand quality, menu execution, and team member development. This role will ensure consistency in safety, sanitation, and brand standards. The Senior Executive Chef will supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities. This role will travel 25%-50% over a standard region and must be based near one of our sites/major airport.

To be considered, candidates should be located in: Alabama, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, or Texas.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring of all kitchen staff across the region
• Ensure compliance with Aramark SAFE food and Quality Assurance standards, occupational and environmental safety policies in all culinary and kitchen operations
• Support new location openings, renovations, and large-scale catering events
• Develop, test, and implement menus and recipes to ensure consistency across the region
• Establish presentation technique and quality standards
• Train on-site leadership on Aramark standards for food cost, inventory management, and budgets
• Ensures proper culinary standards and techniques are in place for preparation of food items, including production, presentation, and service standards?
• Develop and maintain effective client and guest rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships?
• Interact directly with guests daily?
• Aggregate and communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends?
• Responsible for delivering food and labor targets?
• Consistent focus on margin improvement; understanding performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends?

Qualifications

• 8+ years of culinary management experience
• The ability to lead in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role
• Previous experience with controlling food & labor cost, demonstration cooking, menu development and pricing and development of culinary team preferred
• P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience, preferred
• Multi-Unit management, preferred
• Previous experience with control food & labor cost, demonstration cooking, menu development and pricing and development of culinary team preferred
• P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable
• Familiarity with corporate dining software ie, Prima, NetMenu, Cbord, etc

Education

Minimum 5 Years Experience

Bachelors preferred
