Job summary

Peyton Resource Group in Plano, TX is seeking a Program Controls Analyst to drive successful delivery of complex defense programs. You will partner with engineering, finance, and PMO to monitor performance and ensure financial integrity.

The role requires extensive experience in EVM, budgets, and cost control, with strong Excel skills and a detail-oriented mindset. You will prepare reports, analyze data, and support proposals and program management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
10+ years of Program Controls Analyst experience.
Strong background in Earned Value Management (EVM).
Experience with cost and schedule management for government programs.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proposal experience is highly preferred.
Experience supporting engineering and development programs.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Monitor program cost, schedule, and resource performance using Earned Value Management (EVM).
Manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial execution.
Analyze program performance and provide actionable recommendations.
Prepare CDRLs, financial reports, presentations, and executive status updates.
Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, and PMO teams.
Identify program risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
Track labor, resources, and budget allocations across development programs.
Ensure compliance with contractual reporting requirements, including EVM Formats 1-5.
