Hotel Bardo Savannah, in collaboration with Recess Hotel & Club, seeks a Senior Events Manager to lead high-touch events and complex programs in Savannah. You will partner with Sales, Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, and Operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong revenue outcomes.
The role requires 4–6 years of progressive event management, exceptional organization, and the ability to lead planning meetings, site visits, tastings and client communications with poise.
Named the #1 Hotel in Savannah by Travel + Leisure in 2026, Hotel Bardo Savannah is more than a hotel. It’s a neighborhood clubhouse, a gathering place and a world of its own—where exceptional hospitality feels personal, thoughtful and always a little unexpected. Set beside Forsyth Park in the heart of Savannah, Bardo brings together 149 guest rooms and suites, Saint Bibiana, Bar Bibi, The Green Room, Saltgrass Spa, The Cooking School and spaces designed for everything from quiet mornings to unforgettable celebrations. Our most recent recognition from Travel + Leisure joins a growing list of honors, including Bardo’s distinction as a Condé Nast Traveler Triple Crown recipient, recognized across the Hot List, Gold List and Readers’ Choice Awards. But the recognition belongs to the people behind the experience—a team that believes the smallest details can make the biggest impression. At Bardo, hospitality is generous, intuitive and full of personality. Whether you’re welcoming a guest, setting the table, creating a restorative spa experience or making everything happen behind the scenes, you play a part in creating the kind of place people never quite want to leave.
The Senior Events Manager is responsible for planning, detailing, and executing a portfolio of high-touch and complex events across Hotel Bardo Savannah and Recess Hotel & Club. This role serves as a trusted client partner throughout the planning process, ensuring each event is thoughtfully organized, accurately communicated, and seamlessly executed. As a senior individual contributor, this position manages some of the department’s most complex programs while serving as an experienced resource to fellow Event Managers. The Senior Events Manager partners closely with Sales, Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, and Operations across both properties to deliver exceptional guest experiences and support event revenue and profitability.
We believe remarkable hospitality begins with remarkable people. People who notice the details. Who take pride in making someone’s day. Who bring warmth, curiosity and character to what they do.
If that sounds like you, there may be a place for you at Bardo.
