Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Events to own critical customer-facing events, conferences, sponsorships and association programmes to support Pearson's go-to-market priorities. You will translate business objectives into high-quality experiences, coordinating internal teams, external partners, and sponsors for successful delivery.

This role balances strategy, organisation and flawless execution while contributing to continuous improvement of a global events programme and mentoring

Qualifications

• Proven track record independently managing complex events and conferences.
• Strong project management, budgeting and milestone tracking.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, agencies and sponsors.
• Experience delivering event programmes from planning to post-event reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned event workstreams from planning through post-event follow-up.
• Manage timelines, budgets, venues, registrations and attendee communications.
• Translate objectives into event plans with measurable success criteria.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure delivery excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the function.
