Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced ETL/SQL developer to design, implement, and optimize Informatica ETL workflows and data processes.

You will work across data warehousing, reporting, and analytics environments, transforming business requirements into robust data solutions. The role requires 5+ years in ETL/SQL development, strong Informatica experience, and solid SQL skills across MySQL and other databases.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in ETL development, SQL development, or database development.
• Hands-on Informatica development: workflows, mappings, sessions, lookups.
• Experience with Informatica performance features: pushdown optimization, parallelization, gpLoad, Scheduler.
• Strong SQL skills, including MySQL.
• Knowledge of T-SQL, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, XML, JSON, UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience with ETL, data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics systems.
• Git or similar source-control experience.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and data-aggregation requirements, including source-to-target mappings and data-quality needs.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and support Informatica ETL workflows and scheduling processes.
• Develop ETL to support data warehouses, reporting, and analytics environments.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database code, including MySQL.
• Design and optimize data models, tables, relationships, and data structures.
• Apply Informatica capabilities to improve ETL efficiency and reliability.
• Establish transformation logic, error handling, and operational controls.
• Troubleshoot data issues, ETL failures, and production incidents.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and document interfaces and workflows.
• Collaborate with DB, app dev, QA, client teams throughout SDLC.
• Participate in requirements workshops, design sessions, and QA/UAT support.
• Provide effort estimates and advise on scope or schedule adjustments.
• Follow SDLC/security/coding standards and collaborate with team members.
