Job summary

Darden Restaurants Inc. seeks an experienced data integration engineer to design, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for the data warehouse/BI environment. You will create design specs from business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate data delivery.

You will develop robust ETL processes using Informatica and cloud ELT tools, maintain quality through unit tests, and support production systems. Hybrid work and SDLC adherence are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of programming/analysis experience.
• 3+ years developing complex ETL integrations (Informatica preferred).
• 3+ years SQL programming experience.
• 2+ years Python coding experience.
• Experience with large data systems, metadata management and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document and implement robust ETL/ELT processes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Create technical design specifications from business requirements and ensure quality pipelines.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify data integration and system needs.
• Lead small projects and document them per standards.
• Ensure code is unit-tested and participates in QA activities.
• Maintain operational stability and monitor data pipelines; be on-call for production support.
• Collaborate with Data Architect/Modeler, BAs and BI Developers to meet requirements.
