Responsibilities

  • Leads the development, maintenance, and implementation of complex ETL pipelines and processes across structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring accuracy, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Drives adoption of scalable, metadata driven, and reusable data integration patterns to reduce technical debt and improve long term maintainability.
  • Identifies root causes, risks, and improvement opportunities across data solutions and processes.
  • Participates in establishment and advancement of best practices for code reviews, testing, peer programming, and documentation, ensuring quality and standards.
  • Collaborates with teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements and leads solution implementation aligned with business goals and data quality standards.
  • Maintains and enhances ETL platforms, cloud services, and vendor delivered data warehouse solutions.
  • Mentors and supports team members with best practices, testing approaches, and problem solving.

Leads the development, maintenance, and implementation of data integration solutions, ensuring reliable and high‑quality data pipelines and processes. Oversees complex data initiatives spanning multiple systems and stakeholders, mentors team members, and contributes to continuous improvement of data integration frameworks and practices.

  • Leads the development, maintenance, and implementation of complex ETL pipelines and processes across structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring accuracy, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Drives the adoption of scalable, metadata driven, and reusable data integration patterns to reduce technical debt and improve long term maintainability.
  • Identifies root causes, risks, and improvement opportunities across data solutions and processes.
  • Participates in the establishment and advancement of best practices for code reviews, testing, peer programming, and documentation, ensuring compliance with quality, maintainability, and engineering standards.
  • Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements and leads solution implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and data quality standards.
  • Maintains and enhances ETL platforms, cloud services, and vendor delivered data warehouse solutions.
  • Mentors and supports team members through constructive feedback, knowledge sharing, and guidance on best practices, testing approaches, and problem‑solving techniques.
Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Services, or related field, required.

Master's Degree, preferred.

Certifications:

Relevant professional data or cloud certification, preferred.

Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and pipeline design.
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, and systems thinking skills, with the ability to explain reasoning and trade-offs clearly. Sound judgment and data driven reasoning.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and influence others through technical leadership rather than authority.
Experience:
  • Seven years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data pipelines and analytics solutions, required.
  • Experience building scalable, reusable data integration patterns and influencing engineering practices, required.
  • Extensive experience performing data driven root cause analysis and designing well tested, maintainable solutions, required.
  • Experience working with sensitive data and applying secure development practices, required.
