Job summary

Wilson Construction Company in Canby, Oregon, seeks a Senior Estimator - Transmission & Distribution to lead technical estimating for large-scale EHV projects, coordinating with engineering, project managers, and client representatives to ensure win-ready estimates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive utility construction estimating experience.
• Lead estimator on major transmission or distribution projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in CM, Civil/Electrical Eng, or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with MS Project or Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and resource models for large-scale projects.
• Develop bid packages, align technical scopes, and manage bid schedule milestones.
• Engage technically with clients during pre-bid meetings and reviews.
• Conduct site visits to assess ROW conditions and constructability risks.
• Collaborate with procurement, PMs, and field operations for smooth handoffs.
