Job summary

Elite-Recruiting- is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction for commercial construction projects in Perry, GA. You will develop accurate cost estimates, coordinate subcontractor procurement, and drive value engineering while supporting projects from concept through award.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of estimating and preconstruction experience, strong collaboration with owners, architects, and engineers, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of commercial construction estimating/preconstruction experience.
• Experience estimating projects from $1M to $35M+.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, BuildingConnected, PlanSwift, OST, or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating & cost analysis for conceptual, schematic, design development, GMP, and final estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Review drawings, specs, geotechnical reports, and documents to develop estimates.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies while meeting profitability goals.
• Maintain historical cost databases and estimating benchmarks.
• Present estimate reviews to executive leadership prior to submission.
