You will analyze plans, materials, labor, and overhead, and work with engineering and production teams to ensure profitability and competitiveness. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in estimating within manufacturing, proficiency with estimating software and ERP systems, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor cost structures.

Responsabilités

• Review/project plans to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering/production to identify cost savings.
• Maintain databases of historical costs and vendor pricing.
• Prepare and present bid proposals and cost breakdowns.
• Monitor progress and update estimates for scope/market changes.
• Negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for pricing and terms.
