Qualifications

• Four-year degree and 7–10 years minimum experience in budgeting/estimating ground-up projects.
• Experience estimating residential, hospitality, mixed-use, and large-scale renovations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of project estimating from preliminary concepts through bid packages.
• Prepare detailed conceptual budgets from pre-construction through design development.
• Perform detailed take-offs of all trades.
• Initiate and manage the bid process (CM and GC) and ensure accurate submissions by all subcontractors.
• Negotiate and purchase all subcontractors and issue purchase orders.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and subcontractors.
• Guide and mentor junior estimators and improve estimating processes.
