Job summary

GrayWolf, a national industrial construction leader, is seeking a Senior Estimator in the Alpharetta, GA or Humble, TX area. You will lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for complex multi-discipline projects and guide pricing strategies with cross-functional teams.

You will analyze drawings, specs, and bid documents, develop comprehensive estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes, and present proposals to leadership for bids and execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of estimating experience in industrial construction.
• Ability to interpret detailed drawings and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and bid documents to prepare detailed estimates.
• Lead estimating efforts across multiple trades and disciplines.
• Prepare complete and competitive estimates including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Develop proposal documents outlining scope, pricing, and schedules.
• Present estimates to leadership and support bids with clients.
• Assess project risks and cost impacts.
• Assist with pricing for change orders and cost updates.
• Ensure estimating practices comply with company guidelines.
