JGM is seeking a Senior Estimator with 7+ years of industrial construction estimating to join our team. You will develop detailed cost estimates for steel fabrication, erection, equipment setting, and piping, including value engineering and cross-trade pricing across multiple trades.

Role involves collaboration with project management, engineering, and procurement to ensure budgeting accuracy, plus travel across the country.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience in industrial construction estimating.
• In-depth knowledge of structural steel fabrication/erection, equipment setting, and piping.
• Experience managing estimates for projects up to $30 million; larger projects a plus.
• Proficiency in subcontractor/vendor solicitation across multiple trades (civil, concrete, electrical, etc.).
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and bid documents; travel as needed.

• Identify cost-saving measures and propose alternative solutions to meet client needs.

Position Overview

JGM is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator with 7+ years of industrial construction experience to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be adept at estimating complex projects involving structural steel fabrication, erection, equipment setting, and piping, with a proven ability to manage project estimates up to $30 million, with exposure to larger projects a plus.

This role also involves soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and vendor pricing for multiple trades, including concrete/civil, electrical, and specialty subcontractors. Occasional travel to job sites across the country is required. Eastern Time Zone candidates are strongly preferred.

• Experience managing estimates for projects up to $30 million; experience with larger projects is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field - equivalent work experience is welcomed in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in subcontractor/vendor solicitation across multiple trades, including civil, concrete, and electrical.
• Expertise in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Sage Estimating, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
