Job summary

Baker Construction in Georgia seeks a Senior Estimator to assemble large dollar bid proposals, lead an estimating team, and guide projects from Pre-construction to Operations with travel up to 15%.

You will negotiate with clients to close contracts, oversee quantity take-offs, collaborate with vendors and subcontractors, prepare pricing and proposals, and provide ongoing cost estimation support to field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Accounting or related field; 6+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary

The Senior Estimator is responsible to assemble large dollar bid proposals, while managing an Estimator(s) concurrently in in the assembly of the proposal. The Senior Estimator is also expected to follow-up and negotiate with client to close the deal. For awarded contracts, provides on-going cost estimate support to operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university and 6 yearsof related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
