Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the Maryland Bar required.
• D.C. and/or Virginia Bar admission is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience practicing in estate and trust law.
• Experience with estate administration and trust administration.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and research skills.
• Ability to independently manage matters and client relationships.
• Professional, client-focused approach with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives.
• Advise clients on estate planning, trust structures, and tax-related matters.
• Represent fiduciaries and beneficiaries during estate and trust administration.
• Handle estate and trust matters of varying sizes and complexity.
• Provide thoughtful and professional guidance to clients and families.
• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively throughout the planning and administration process.
