Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator to support project teams in applying safety, health, and environmental standards at the site level. This role emphasizes OSHA compliance, training, and accident investigations in a fast-paced construction environment.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS, 3+ years in construction safety, OSHA 510 certification, and a commitment to continuous learning. Position requires strong communication and organization and is based on our US operations in

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred with 3+ years in construction or industrial health and safety.
• OSHA 510 – Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction required.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within last two years.
• OSHA 30-hour training for construction and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and core ESH competencies.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams to implement safety, health, and environmental standards at site level.
• Enforce OSHA and Layton Construction safety policies.
• Investigate accidents and near misses with data collection.
• Monitor workers’ compensation issues and report timely information.
• Provide site-specific safety orientations and pre-construction safety meetings.
• Deliver safety training to employees and subcontractors.
