Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced ERP Finance Lead to own end-to-end delivery of Dynamics 365 F&O across multiple workstreams. You will drive process improvements, manage scope and timelines, and partner with executives to ensure governance and risk controls are in place.

You will translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions, oversee data modeling and BI reporting, and stay current on Dynamics 365 capabilities and the Microsoft roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Information Systems (or related) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years hands-on Dynamics 365 F&O functional experience with depth across Finance modules.
• Proven experience leading a team/workstream; manage performance and develop others.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations end-to-end.
• Working knowledge of Agile and release management.
• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Familiarity with EDI and SK Global Treasury Automation Suite.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; present and drive alignment independently with Director-level partners.

• Maintain expertise across D365 F&O Finance modules (AP, AR, FA, PMA, Cost, Procurement).
• Lead architecture/design decisions for new functionality, integrations, and third-party solutions.
• Liaise with vendors for integration, evaluation, and governance.
• Own D365 data modeling; design and oversee Power BI reporting.
• Identify software gaps and propose scalable solutions aligned to priorities.
• Ensure SOX, 21 CFR Part 11, and CSA processes; mitigate risks.

The Position

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across ERP Finance workstreams; ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to change control and release management standards.
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency within the ERP Finance domain.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and resources across concurrent workstreams with limited oversight.
• Serve as the primary IS&I point of contact for Finance and related business functions; build trusted advisor relationships, especially with executives.
• Translate business requirements into functional ERP solutions; facilitate design sessions and solution reviews independently.
• Monitor and communicate emerging Dynamics 365 F&O capabilities, AI advancements, and Microsoft roadmap updates with a point of view on relevance/impact.
• Represent IS&I in cross-functional forums and project steering committees to drive alignment.
• Maintain deep subject matter expertise across Dynamics 365 F&O Finance modules (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Project Management Accounting, Cost Management, Procurement/Sourcing).
• Lead architecture/design decisions for new functionality, integrations, and third-party solutions; leverage D365 out-of-the-box and Power Platform best practices.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for integration, evaluation, and partnership governance.
• Own D365 data modeling; design and oversee Power BI reporting.
• Identify software gaps, propose scalable solutions, and keep the platform roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Ensure adherence to SOX, 21 CFR Part 11, and CSA processes; proactively identify risks and remediate.
• Support internal/external audits; serve as IT subject matter expert for ERP Finance during SOX audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Information Systems (or related) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years hands-on Dynamics 365 F&O functional experience with depth across Finance modules.
• Proven experience leading a team/workstream; manage performance and develop others.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations end-to-end.

• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Familiarity with EDI and SK Global Treasury Automation Suite.

• Candidates must have current, valid authorization to work in the country where the role is located.

Preferred

• Consulting experience in ERP Finance implementations.
• SOX audit experience (hands-on IT or functional).
• Life Sciences/Pharma background and GxP familiarity.
• 21 CFR Part 11 compliance experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot for D365/M365.
• Power Platform toolset development experience.

Compensation

• Wisconsin pay range: $140,000–$180,000 USD.
• California pay range: $160,000–$200,000 USD.
