Job summary

Public Consulting Group seeks a Senior Consultant to lead IV&V for a major ERP migration project for a state government. You will coordinate with project leadership, provide expert advice, and supervise a team to deliver high-quality artifacts and insights throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires broad industry experience, strong writing/presentation skills, PMP certification, and the ability to travel regionally up to 25%. Hybrid work with some onsite engagements is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology experience.
• 5+ years in IV&V, project management, QA, or oversight for state governments.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Bachelor's degree; graduate degree preferred.
• Ability to travel 25% regionally and across the country a few times a year.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, provide direction, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Proactively solve complex client problems from pursuit through execution.
• Identify and surface root causes; surface patterns to leadership.
• Assimilate research/data to inform recommendations.
• Oversee SDLC activities: business analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, and assurance.
• Support proposals for RFPs and bid decisions.
