Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior ERP Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on configuring and supporting Workday ERP applications, building integrations and ensuring data integrity to enable business processes across the organization.

You will lead Workday configuration, develop integrations (EIB), and provide technical direction, with a strong emphasis on security, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration with developers and business partners.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience designing, implementing, or leading ERP, HRIS or financial reporting systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with Workday preferred.
  • Experience in engineering and testing ERP integrations to external vendors or other parties.
  • Detail oriented team player who is comfortable with managing confidential information.
  • Experience planning, facilitating, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements.
  • Experienced in Workday configuration, integration, reporting, testing and migration.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and improve Workday configuration and integrations to other applications using Workday Studio, Workday Cloud Platform and other tools.
  • Configure and maintain business process definitions in Workday.
  • Develop and support integrations (EIB) for inbound and outbound data exchange between Workday and other internal/external systems.
  • Configure and maintain domain security policies, and business process policies in Workday.
  • Provide technical direction on configuration and new functionality related to Workday.
  • Creates and review technical documentation for new and existing processes, policies, and user guides. Has good working knowledge of Workday Extend and Prism.
  • Participate in project teams that are either directly associated with the ERP or that use the information.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be a level three application support for CLA’s ERP Team.
  • Review application updates and compares to business needs for impact on existing configuration and to identify opportunities.
  • Provide implementation support, Workday optimization related to business processes, security and data integrity for the applications.
  • Ideal candidate will be strong with Workday Adaptive, Workday Studio Integrations, & Advance Matrix reports.

The Senior ERP Engineer with CLA’s Enterprise Resource Management team improves and supports business ERP use and is responsible for configuration and support of ERP applications that includes developing solutions/enhancements, design, configuration, and maintenance.
