Job summary

Northland is seeking a talented equity research professional to lead coverage on a defined industry, building valuation models, authoring reports, and delivering actionable recommendations to institutional clients.

You will foster relationships with corporate management and buy-side investors, strengthening Northland's research platform and equities business while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in sell-side or buy-side equity research with FINRA SIE, 7.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge with solid communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead research coverage on a specific industry sector for institutional clients.
• Build and maintain financial models and industry databases.
• Write regular research notes and initiations of coverage.
• Communicate ideas to institutional investors and internal sales team.
• Develop relationships with C-suite and Investor Relations teams.
