Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician in Indiana to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on a diverse equipment fleet, including aerial work platforms and pumps. Responsibilities include safe operation, adherence to maintenance schedules, and supporting on-site teams.

The role offers on-site work with opportunities for growth in service or operations management. A high school diploma or GED and relevant experience are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting; advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting; ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Run advanced diagnostics and perform complex repairs.
• Work with a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, generators.
