Job summary

Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Director to lead policy for statewide IT and telecom management, supervise the EPMO, and align programs with KPIs. You will translate user needs into product requirements and manage the PP M system across the department and customer agencies.

As a senior DoIT official, you will set long-range goals, interpret new legislation, and oversee budget proposals in coordination with the DoIT

Qualifications

  • Requires a four-year college degree in MIS/IT or related field.
  • Progressively responsible IT admin experience in public or private sector.
  • Three years supervising a team of IT professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as EPMO Director and policy-maker for statewide IT/telecom management.
  • Supervise and coordinate enterprise project management activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into product requirements.
  • Manage the PP M system to support DoIT and partner agencies.
  • Develop long-range goals aligning with KPIs and standards.
  • Prepare and monitor EPMO budget proposals with DoIT.
