Job summary

Abbott seeks a Senior Field Clinical Specialist for Electrophysiology (EP) in the Southeast. The role provides field support for EP clinical studies, acts as a protocol and technology expert, and collaborates across Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, and R&D to advance EP projects.

The candidate will develop site networks, train staff on protocol and tech, and travel up to 75% during enrollment periods, enabling high-quality data collection and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or biological sciences or related field, or equivalent
• 4+ years clinical experience in Electrophysiology field preferred
• EP clinical background and field-based experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% during active trial enrollment periods

Responsibilities

• Provide field support for clinical research enrollment and procedures in EP therapy area.
• Serve as technology, protocol and clinical trial expert for Abbott stakeholders and research personnel.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical sites in the assigned territory.
• Train facility staff regarding protocol requirements and technology.
• Identify and communicate best practices for territory management and study execution.
• Collaborate with Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, marketing and commercial teams to support EP BU projects.
