Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center seeks an experienced Senior Electrophysiology Specialist for Ablation and Mapping. You will assist in complex EP procedures, interpret intracardiac data, and function as a 1st assistant for ablations and device implants.

Minimum five years in diagnostic/interventional EP and RCES/IBHRE certification (or within 3 months). BLS/ACLS required within 3 months. Comprehensive benefits and advanced training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Graduate of a CVT or EPT program.
• Minimum of three years in diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
• Current RCES or IBHRE certification within 3 months of hire, or eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 3 months of hire.
• PALS certification preferred; if not certified, complete within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complex ablation procedures and interpret EP data.
• Serve as 1st assistant during ablations and device implants.
• Scrub, circulate, monitor and record during procedures.
• Provide guidance to staff on Ablation and Mapping procedures.

Education

Associate's degree or equivalent experience

Graduate of a CVT or EPT program

Minimum three years full-time work experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology

RCES or IBHRE certification

BLS and ACLS certifications
