Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in Lancaster, PA, seeks a Supervisor Group Lead to provide technical and operational support for a laboratory group, including scheduling, training, data review, and report preparation. The role may involve hands-on work in a busy lab environment.

The position emphasizes coordinating projects, managing workflows, ensuring turnaround times, and mentoring analysts while upholding accreditation and safety standards in environmental testing.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field; 6 years of experience in a related field in lieu of degree
• 4 years’ experience in a laboratory setting; Minimum 1 year of Leadership experience in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments, preferably in a production environment.
• Previous GC experience, ideally GC-ECD or GC-FID
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Coordinates work projects with department manager, operations leader and/or project managers to prioritize laboratory workload to meet client requirements.
• Coordinate and manage internal projects for the assigned department, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to turnaround time targets (TAT‑95 < 14 days).
• Release samples to laboratory personnel and communicate due dates and update turnaround times.
• Ensures sample and extract hold times are monitored and adhered to.
• Responsible for ensuring proper training of all new analysts and developing staff in skills, equipment and procedures.
