Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Environmental Test Technician to execute climactic and environmental tests across the product line. You will set up data acquisition systems, program test controllers, and maintain lab safety and organization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on test experience, troubleshooting across equipment types, and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in an engineering technician capacity or similar.
• Familiarity with Jira or other agile development software.
• Experience with running environmental test equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, flexible team environment.
• Eligible to obtain / maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Familiarity with environmental test standards (MIL-STD-810, DO-160)

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of environmental tests including, but not limited to, thermal, dynamic, corrosion, and ingress tests.
• Program test controllers such as WATLOW F4s, and F4Ts.
• Execute dynamic tests using electrodynamic shaker table control software.
• Set up data acquisition systems for environmental tests
• Maintain lab spaces to a high level of organization and professionalism.
• Promote lab safety training and processes, fostering an environment and culture to promote safety as the number one priority
• Promote proper maintenance of capital equipment including environmental chambers, electrodynamic shakers, and data acquisition equipment.
• Advance environmental testing training materials and keep technical documentation updated.
• Travel to test sites and remote labs as needed
