A leading renewable energy company is seeking an Environmental Permitting Specialist to guide compliance and permitting for solar projects across the U.S. Responsibilities encompass developing permitting strategies, managing environmental compliance, and conducting due diligence for new opportunities. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of related experience. This position is hybrid with 3 days in the office and involves a salary range of $110,000-$145,000, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of professional experience in environmental permitting and/or compliance.
• Experience in construction and operational compliance support is preferred.
• Advanced degree in biological science/natural resources/environmental policy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting strategies for energy generation projects.
• Oversee environmental regulatory compliance processes.
• Conduct environmental due diligence for development and acquisition.
