Job summary

Airswift seeks an Environmental Specialist for the LA Area, a fast-growing environmental services firm with a strong project pipeline. You will play a key role in regulatory research, ensuring clients meet complex environmental rules across federal, state, and local levels.

Responsibilities include preparing compliance plans and reports, coordinating with agencies, and maintaining clear client communication during field assessments and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, HSE, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in environmental science focused on regulatory compliance.
• Oil & Gas / energy sector experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

We're seeking an Environmental Specialist to work for a major client in the LA Area, a fast-growing environmental services firm with a healthy pipeline of projects for the next 7+ years.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive regulatory research to ensure clients are informed of the latest environmental standards and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to facilitate adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Prepare and submit detailed environmental compliance plans, permits, and reports related to air quality, hazardous waste management, spill prevention, stormwater, and wastewater.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and maintain proactive communication with clients during field assessments and site visits.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in HSE/Environmental or Equivalent Experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in environmental science with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance.
• Oil and Gas / Energy sector experience is a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing tasks efficiently and staying within scope and budget.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
