Job summary

Exponent is seeking a Senior Environmental Associate/Scientist in Burlington, MA to join our Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice. You will provide high-level support to clients and consultants across water-related projects, including drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, and site investigations.

The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering or related field and hands-on experience with water quality data, treatment processes, and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with water treatment, wastewater treatment, industrial water treatment, consulting, operations, management, or litigation support.
• Ability to synthesize complex engineering data and perform forensic/root cause analyses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering analyses and prepare clear reports.
• Support multidisciplinary project teams on complex problems.
• Assist clients with water-related challenges across multiple domains.
• Pursue professional development and contribute to publications.
• Develop and expand client relationships and opportunities.
