Job summary

Jacobs, based in Loveland, Colorado, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead upstream oil and gas environmental projects and broader regulatory programs across Colorado and the western U.S. The role balances office leadership, client engagement, site visits, and flexible remote work to support project delivery.

You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, mentor junior staff, ensure safety, and drive proposals, cost estimates, and schedules while maintaining strong client and regulator

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of environmental project management experience.
• Experience managing investigations, remediation, compliance, or restoration for public or private clients.
• Experience with upstream oil and gas facilities and asset retirement projects.
• Valid driver’s license and travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver environmental investigation, remediation, compliance, and asset-retirement projects.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Direct budget, schedule, forecasting, invoicing, and overall financial performance.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise a multidisciplinary project team.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, and subcontractor management.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and ensure permit compliance.
• Support business development and pursuit of new opportunities.
