Job summary
Axiom in Houston, TX is seeking an Environmental & Regulatory Attorney with 8+ years of experience to provide day-to-day environmental and regulatory counsel, support compliance, and advise on agency oversight. You will conduct legal research on federal and state requirements and assist with energy- and petrochemical-related matters.

Qualifications
- J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and an active license to practice law in Texas or another U.S. state.
- Eight+ years of environmental and regulatory law experience, including energy/oil & gas.
- Experience with governmental agency interactions, enforcement resolution, and environmental due diligence.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day environmental and regulatory advice and compliance counseling.
- Conduct legal research on federal and state environmental requirements.
- Investigate matters and prepare responses to governmental agencies, including PSM and RMP.
- Support environmental due diligence, corporate transactions, and regulatory reporting.
- Stay current on environmental developments, case law, and industry practices.
