Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead complex energy projects in the Texas/Louisiana region. You will direct siting, routing, and permitting efforts, guiding cross-disciplinary teams and coordinating with agencies, landowners, and clients to deliver impactful solutions.

You will bring 10+ years of experience in environmental project management for transmission, generation, renewables, or pipelines, and strong stakeholder engagement skills to this growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of environmental project management experience in energy sectors.
• Experience with siting, routing, permitting, impact assessments, and regulatory compliance in TX/LA/region.
• Experience preparing and managing PUC/PSC applications and expert testimony.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets and schedules across projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, public meetings, and community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams on complex energy projects to deliver on time and within scope.
• Direct siting and routing studies for transmission, generation, and distribution facilities.
• Manage environmental permitting, agency coordination, public meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with agencies, landowners, and clients; provide strategic guidance on filing requirements.
• Monitor policy trends and energy market developments in TX/LA.
• Drive business development, proposals, budgets, and client relationship growth.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices across project delivery.
