Job summary

Terraphase Engineering seeks a Project Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join our Oakland team. The role encompasses site assessments, remediation planning, and regulatory compliance across stormwater, air quality, and hazardous waste projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field required; MS preferred.
• EIT or CA PE license preferred.
• 4+ years in environmental consulting or engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication and technical writing experience.
• Experience with RI/FS reports, remediation design, cost estimating, and field supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental site assessments, investigations, and field work.
• Work on stormwater, air quality, wastewater, and hazardous waste projects.
• Develop and implement remediation plans and strategies.
• Prepare permit applications and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve environmental challenges.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and review deliverables.
