Job summary

Redhawk Copper Inc. seeks an Environmental and Permitting Manager to lead Arizona permitting as Faraday Copper moves from exploration to development.

The role reports to the Director of Permitting and owns the integrated permitting register and schedule across federal and state agencies. You will manage BLM notices and NEPA/EIS scoping, ADEQ APP and Air Quality permitting, groundwater and surface water programs, and ensure ground disturbance is authorized with proper cultural and biological

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in environmental science, hydrology, geology, engineering, natural resources, or related discipline.
• Ten or more years of combined environmental permitting and site environmental management experience, including exploration or development stage mining projects.
• Demonstrated federal and state permitting experience, including BLM notices or plans of operations and NEPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the integrated permitting register and master schedule across assets.
• Manage the BLM pathway, including 43 CFR 3809 exploration notices and plans of operation, and support scoping of NEPA Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).
• Manage ADEQ APP and Air Quality permitting, MLRP with the State Mine Inspector, ADWR matters, and AZPDES authorizations.
• Coordinate with the Land Manager on Arizona State Land Department instruments and rights of way for permits and ground disturbance.
• Manage reclamation bonding for exploration disturbance and track concurrent reclamation of pads and roads.
• Secure drill pad and access road authorizations and confirm biological and cultural clearances are complete before any ground disturbance.
• Own stormwater compliance under MSGP and our SWPPP, SPCC planning, dust control, waste management, and drilling fluids handling.
