Job summary

Acentech, a multidisciplinary design consultancy, is seeking a mid- to senior-level Noise and Vibration consultant to join the team in our office network across the U.S.

You will conduct measurements, run models, prepare technical reports, and present findings to clients, while coordinating with our environmental noise practice and supporting outreach. Travel to field sites is expected; the role offers diverse projects in environmental noise, data centers, healthcare, and education.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental noise measurement and assessment.
• Degree in engineering or science with vibration/acoustics focus.
• Experience in consulting and managing projects.
• Familiarity with vibration/acoustics measurement instrumentation and data processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel for field work.
• CadnaA or similar modeling software familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on consulting across diverse projects.
• Perform measurements, modeling, and prepare technical reports.
• Represent Acentech at client meetings.
• Support public outreach to communicate study findings.
• Collaborate with Noise and Vibration team.
