MYR Group Inc. is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead environmental compliance for our construction operations. You will oversee permitting, program development, audits, and sustainability initiatives across utility projects.

The role involves liaison with clients, regulators, and consultants, plus training staff to uphold environmental responsibility. Qualified candidates have a minimum of five years in construction environmental compliance, experience with permitting processes, and strong

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing environmental compliance for construction projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with permitting and agency coordination.
• Utility electric construction experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with environmental permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations, and standards at local, state and federal levels.
• Function as principal technical advisor and coordinator for environmental issues.
• Create and execute environmental management programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to identify risks and address improvements.
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies for resource conservation and waste reduction.
• Provide environmental training to employees and stakeholders to foster responsibility.
• Communicate environmental performance and risks to stakeholders.
• Supervise and lead environmental teams or personnel.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators, and consultants; attend field visits.
• Understand field locations and ensure compliance with permits and policies.
