Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Managing Environmental Health Scientist in Oakland, CA. You will oversee the Health Science Group, manage workload, and supervise staff across HHRA, EJ analyses, EIAs, ESAs, and HIAs for North America. You’ll design methodologies, delegate tasks, and ensure quality and timely delivery.

You will coordinate with clients and agencies, present findings, and support business development while mentoring the team and developing tools for risk assessment workflows.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HHRA, EJ, EIAs, ESAs, and HIAs.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, toxicity assessments, and exposure modeling.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload and staff in the Health Science Group for HHRA, EJ, EIAs, ESAs, and HIAs across North America.
• Design HHRA methodologies and delegate tasks to project staff with clear guidance.
• Coordinate with clients and agencies and prepare presentations for regulatory meetings.
• Support business development, track regulations, and prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Lead training and mentorship programs for team members.
