Actalent in Westerville, OH seeks an experienced environmental professional to lead UST closure assessments, site investigations, and regulatory reporting. The role focuses on delineating contamination, evaluating risk, and guiding corrective-action plans under BUSTR requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a geology/environmental science degree with 10+ years in environmental consulting, and has strong project-management and client-communication skills. This is a fully onsite, permanent position.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible environmental consulting experience, ideally involving petroleum-contaminated sites.
• Direct experience with UST investigation and corrective-action projects.
• Strong knowledge of the Ohio BUSTR corrective-action process, including investigation, risk evaluation, and remediation.
• Experience with BUSTR-Tier 2 evaluations, SSTLs, and data interpretation.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, perform, and oversee UST closure assessments per regulatory requirements.
• Manage site check investigations to identify and evaluate petroleum releases.
• Develop scopes of work and sampling programs for soil and groundwater investigations.
• Evaluate petroleum impacts to soil and groundwater using field and analytical data.
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory submittals per BUSTR requirements.
