Onterris, Inc. seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer with NY PE to lead environmental assessments, remediation and brownfields projects from investigation through closure. This NY-based role supports the Rochester area but is remote within the US, with periodic travel to project sites.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of environmental engineering/consulting experience and NY PE license. You will manage scopes, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams, perform design and evaluations, and mentor junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in environmental, civil, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited program.
• Approximately 8+ years of progressively responsible environmental engineering or environmental consulting experience.
• Current and active New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience across the contaminated-site lifecycle including due diligence, ESAs, design, and closure.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support environmental investigations through closure.
• Perform and direct engineering evaluations and remedial design activities.
• Plan Phase I/II ESAs, field programs, and evaluation of environmental data.
• Evaluate plans related to environmental conditions for redevelopment.
• Manage scopes, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare and review work plans, technical memoranda, and final project documents.
• Provide technical review and mentorship to junior staff.
• Support proposal development, site visits, and client coordination.
